Manager, ERP Implementations for EMCOR Construction Services

Job Summary

EMCOR Construction Services, Inc. (ECS) seeks a Manager, ERP Implementations. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating ERP Implementations, primarily with Vista applications and other business systems. The position supports 26 companies and aims to implement 2 new systems annually. Based in McLean, VA, but open to remote candidates willing to travel up to 30%, this role offers a compensation range of $90,000 - $150,000, with bonus eligibility.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive the implementation project's flow from inception to completion
• Manage the implementation team, assign tasks, monitor progress, and mentor team members
• Confer with supervisory personnel, operating company leadership, support team, or consultants to address work processes, complaints, or software issues
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking
• Inspect or review projects to ensure compliance with EMCOR SOPs and reporting
• Host and attend meetings with internal and external entities to review scheduling, delivery, work plans, job progress, manpower, and solutions to setbacks
• Escalate critical and sensitive issues to the ERP Implementation Manager and Operating Company CEO for resolution
• Comply with all Company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs
• Respond to end user requests for assistance, troubleshoot reported issues, and work closely with the Application Administrator using a ticketing system
• Develop and document business, technical system, and application processes, functions, and best practices
• Aid in the evaluation of process improvement options through the use of Vista tools and technology
• Support end user training and the rollout of software best practices
• Work with the team to track progress and organize implementation project steps to ensure critical path items are prioritized and schedules are maintained

Characteristics And Skills

• Knowledgeable of the construction phase of capital projects lifecycle (concept to design and build through operations and maintenance)
• Extensive knowledge of Vista software, including Vista Web
• Lead role in an ERP implementation (accounting or operations)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft
• Excellent organizational skills and self-direction; work independently with limited supervision
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, capable of leading meetings professionally
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to read and interpret communication styles of diverse team members
• Proactive agent for change and competent in following through on initiatives

Qualifications

• Five or more (5+) years of experience in construction or related fields
• Extensive knowledge of Vista software, including Vista Web
• Lead role in an ERP implementation (accounting or operations)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft
