Manager, Environmental Health and Safety - USA - PA -Harrisburg- R26-10636

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Manager of EHS to support our Harrisburg, PA and Baltimore, MD branches and surrounding job sites. This position will partner closely with branch and field leadership to identify and mitigate safety risks, strengthen compliance, and promote a culture of safety throughout the region. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently manage priorities, anticipate potential issues, and implement practical solutions before problems escalate. Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills are essential.

Location and Travel

Candidates may be based near Harrisburg, PA or Baltimore, MD, with either branch serving as their home base. Approximately 40% regional travel, primarily day trips between branches and customer job sites. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, associate degree in Occupational Safety, professional EHS certification (BCSP), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5+ years of relevant field-based EHS experience preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction or greater, or HAS certification or greater.
• Experience supporting construction, industrial, or other field-based operations.
• Ability to work independently, identify emerging safety concerns, and proactively implement corrective actions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence branch leadership and field employees.
