Primary Functions

  • Work collaboratively across enterprise teams to identify, define and plan for the most essential strategic opportunities and challenges
  • Prepare, analyze, and use data to make actionable recommendations and drive progress against cross enterprise programs
  • Analyze industry trends and competitive benchmarking to affirm or alter strategies as necessary
  • Distill key strategic themes, ideas, and opportunities into tangible and executable plans, initiatives, and executive communications
  • Help define, accelerate, track and monitor key cross functional programs and results while reporting on performance measures and effectiveness of implemented strategies to executive leadership
  • Tell clear and compelling stories leveraging data and strategic direction
  • Identify and analyze business risks, regularly prepare executive presentations, and actively participate in meetings with cross enterprise leadership
  • Develop and implement communication and change strategies that convey strategic objectives across the organization
  • Support preparation of agendas / topics / materials for Board and other executive meetings in conjunction with other business leaders
  • Work on additional projects as needed including reporting and ad hoc analytical requests

What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic planning or larger scale / cross functional program management with 4+ years work experience at Delta, other large corporate entities, strategy consulting firm, investment banking or equivalent experience
  • Ability to formulate an evidence-based point-of-view quickly with minimal direct guidance
  • Executive presence and communication skills to be an effective agent of change and vision
  • Superior technical skills including quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial acumen, analytical modeling, data analysis for the purpose of assisting the exploration of strategic options and development of creative solutions to complex problems
  • Experience researching external trends, sources, information to form perspectives / points of view / recommendations given quickly changing or ambiguous topics
  • Participation in one or more organizational transformations with evidence of business change, performance improvement, growth, cost reductions
  • Advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required
  • Fluency in generative AI tools and applications, including the ability to leverage AI to enhance strategic analysis, synthesize complex information, and improve productivity; experience crafting effective prompts, critically evaluating outputs for accuracy and bias, and applying sound judgment to integrate AI into business workflows
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
