About the role
You'll build and grow our Enterprise Solutions Engineering team: finding and hiring the best people, coaching the craft, and getting hands-on in the deals that matter most.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an Enterprise Solutions Engineering team (1-3 years of experience leading a team)
- Hire exceptional Solutions Engineers, coaching them through customer calls, reviewing demos, and helping them grow into stronger technical and commercial operators
- Stay close to the business itself, understanding where pipeline is building, making sure the team is focused on the right opportunities, and jumping into our largest enterprise deals when your experience can make the difference
- Help shape how the function scales, refining how we run Solutions Engineering as the team grows, working closely with Enterprise Sales on technical strategy for our biggest opportunities, and building strong relationships with our product and engineering teams
- Build the technical depth needed to have credible conversations about how AI systems work in practice
Requirements
- Hands-on management experience leading a Solutions Engineering team (1-3 years)
- Directly grew individual contributors (ICs) to higher levels of performance
- Technical expertise to earn trust with engineers and technical buyers
- Commercial acumen to understand how complex enterprise deals are executed
- Strategic thinking about the mechanics of an SE team, including pipeline, targets, enablement, capacity, and hiring next
