About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead the Mac Sensor engineering team within our Endpoint Security product group. Key responsibilities include defining and delivering the product roadmap, coordinating with other product groups on Mac sensor architecture, releases, support, and development best practices. The role involves working closely with the team to design, enhance, and build various customer-facing features within the CrowdStrike Falcon product line.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the product roadmap for the Mac Sensor team
  • Coordinate with other product groups on Mac sensor architecture, releases, support, and development best practices
  • Work closely with the team to design, enhance, and build various customer-facing features within the CrowdStrike Falcon product line
  • Provide technical knowledge, mentoring, and guidance to your direct reports
  • Hire and on-board new team members
  • Manage staffing across features and projects to encourage individual growth and cross training
  • Monitor execution and quality of team projects
  • Collaborate with other teams across the company on Mac sensor related architecture, releases, support, and development best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling product engineering teams
  • 5+ years of prior experience in software development
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to ship major features and releases
  • Computer science degree or commensurate experience developing system software on mac OS with C++, Swift
  • Knowledge of low-level macOS internals
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architectures
  • Able to communicate effectively across functions and throughout the organization
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative product development environment
  • Passionate about solving problems and delivering product features to customers
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes

Bonus Points

  • Background in scalable, lightweight, and highly performant systems
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience in Cybersecurity
  • Familiarity and experience with Agile process
