About the role

The Engineering Manager will lead the Mac Sensor engineering team within our Endpoint Security product group. The team works on various customer-facing features within our CrowdStrike Falcon product line, including static analysis-based detection and prevention capabilities, custom IOAs, automated remediation, firewall management, and removable device control.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver on the product roadmap
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other product groups on Mac sensor related architecture, releases, support, and development best practices
  • Work closely with the team to design, enhance, and build numerous customer-facing features within our CrowdStrike Falcon product line

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing and scaling product engineering teams
  • 5+ years of prior experience in software development
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to ship major features and releases
  • Computer science degree or commensurate experience developing system software on mac OS with C++, Swift
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architectures

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of low-level macOS internals
  • Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions, and/or system performance
  • Able to communicate effectively across functions and throughout the organization
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, test-driven, collaborative, and iterative product development environment
  • Passionate about solving problems and delivering product features to customers
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes

Skills

  • Background in scalable, lightweight, and highly performant systems
  • Designing and building software with shared cross-platform code and deliverables (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Knowledge and/or prior experience in Cybersecurity
  • Familiarity and experience with Agile process
