Manager, Editor, Government and Public Services (GPS)

About the role

The Senior Editor for Deloitte Insights will lead the development and execution of high-quality research and insights projects, ranging from reports and articles to infographics and videos. Reporting to the DI Editor in Chief in the United States, they will collaborate with Deloitte business leaders, internal and external thought leaders, government and public services research professionals, and publishing and marketing colleagues to strategize, develop, and execute research and insights stories on prioritized topics.

Responsibilities

• Leverage subject matter expertise and business understanding to develop and execute research and insights stories on prioritized topics.
• Evaluate insights projects' novelty in the generative AI era, aligning them with target audiences' informational needs and Deloitte's expertise and business priorities.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in writing, editing, and copyediting content in American English (business journalism experience preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferably in English, literature, journalism, communications, or similar).
• Exceptional editing and copyediting skills, and mastery of US English grammar, conversational phrasing, and Associated Press style.

Qualifications
