About the role

The Manager, eCommerce Marketing Operations position within the Marketing Operations group will support the creation and management of key ecommerce flows for the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, MarketWatch, and Financial News. This role will liaise directly with Marketing, Product and Tech teams to ensure a seamless checkout experience for flagship publications.

You will:

  • Launch new products, offers and ecommerce flows to manage the customer experience.
  • Develop maintenance requests and BRDs (business requirement documents) for new offers and processes, partnering with technology to translate into customer-facing requirements.
  • Create new offers and manage existing offers within the ecommerce platform to promote flagship publications.
  • Implement and build new landing pages for acquisition campaigns to ensure a seamless checkout experience.
  • Execute new eCommerce flows to support new subscription offers and products, including digital pricing, promotions, and site assets.
  • Partner with a QA manager to manage timelines, user acceptance testing, goals, measurable KPIs, and create test plans.
  • Partner with cross-functional business units for new pricing plans and testing requests, including a streamlined intake process and project management from beginning to end.
  • Analyze existing processes for improvement, identify opportunities to drive KPIs, and automate manual processes.
  • Partner with management to create and optimize processes and timelines, embedding operational excellence into workflows.
  • Manage a team of offer managers to provide mentorship, optimize processes, establish operational excellence standards, and manage knowledge transfer.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce with the ability to test APIs.
  • Ability to lead with operational rigor and set standards for operational excellence with clearly defined project and process workflows.
  • HTML and SQL skills required.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience with people management.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Detailed understanding of end-to-end eCommerce processes, including website infrastructure, content management, operations, and customer-facing functionality.
  • Experience optimizing AWS environments for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite applications.
  • Knowledge of the media and publishing industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the subscription business preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing preferred, or equivalent experience.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $95,000 – $125,000. Pay may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
