About the role

TriVista is hiring a Manager to lead client engagements within our Digital & Technology practice. We work with private equity firms and their portfolio companies on technology and business-system questions that affect growth, performance, and risk.

ERP & Business Systems Focus
This role has a particular focus on ERP and enterprise business systems. We are looking for someone with functional experience assessing how systems support core business processes across finance, operations, inventory, production, warehouse, supply chain, sales, and customer service. The right person can lead discussions with business and IT stakeholders, evaluate workflows and system capabilities, identify gaps or risks, and develop clear recommendations for leadership. Experience with CRM, planning, reporting, and other connected business applications is also valuable. This is a consulting role for someone who can independently lead an assessment from discovery through final recommendations. Engagements may include ERP and business-application assessments, system selection, business process mapping, technology strategy, systems architecture, cybersecurity and technology risk, and post-merger technology integration.

You will work directly with client leaders across finance, operations, sales, and IT while leading small engagement teams and managing the day-to-day work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements from scoping and discovery through analysis, recommendations, and final deliverables
  • Assess ERP and business applications, including the workflows they support, connected systems, and gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate discussions with client stakeholders to understand how systems support business functions and end-to-end processes
  • Lead business process mapping, application assessments, system-selection work, and technology roadmaps
  • Manage project plans, budgets, deliverables, client communication, and consultants assigned to the engagement
  • Translate technical and operational findings into clear recommendations for management teams, boards, and private equity stakeholders
  • Support work related to cybersecurity, technology risk, and post-merger enterprise-system integration
  • Contribute to proposals, practice development, and mentoring junior team members

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience with ERP, enterprise systems, or business applications
  • Functional understanding of ERP modules, workflows, and configuration considerations across areas such as finance, operations, inventory, production, warehouse, or supply chain
  • Experience assessing ERP and related business applications, mapping processes, identifying gaps, and developing recommendations or roadmaps
  • Ability to evaluate how ERP, CRM, and related applications support end-to-end business processes and fit within the broader technology environment
  • Experience with more than one ERP platform is preferred
  • Experience leading complex technology projects or client engagements and owning a project from start to finish
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and IT stakeholders and explain technical topics in a clear, business-focused way
  • Consulting experience is helpful, though candidates with relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong project management, analytical, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
