Manager, Digital Activation

Responsibilities
- Help deliver clients’ business objectives through bespoke and insight rooted digital programs.
- Serve as the day-to-day liaison between the client, account team, and the digital media community.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the media vendor community to ensure clients get premium access to opportunities and plans are the most innovative in the industry.
- Steward media plan development and implementation, including ongoing and insightful performance reporting and optimization recommendations to maximize return on investment.
- Manage up to director level and supervise the analyst’s day-to-day activities, ensuring their growth as digital media professionals is a priority.
- Challenge the norm and seek out innovative approaches to execution media across digital partners/platforms.
- Push partners to elevate and innovate programs, creating first-to-market experiences.
- Analyze historical and current campaign results to optimize learning and ensure continuous improvement.
- Process and analyze competitive media activity in the marketplace.
- Oversee the buying and implementation of Digital campaigns, coordinating internal resource, setting best practice and working on planning frameworks.
- Ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation.
- Establish timetables for development of digital plans and manage expectations on deliverables.
- Develop relationships with other Digital Media Buying professionals to share best practices and lessons learned.
- Effectively manage and develop junior team members (mentoring, training, etc.).
- Problem solve and find solutions for issues not yet attempted.
- Present recommendations/ideas to client and internal team.
- Effectively merchandise successes to the client.
- Help educate client team on latest trends, best practices, technologies, etc.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience; recent and proven experience in programmatic execution/planning and activation required.
- Other digital advertising experience, such as search and/or social, is a plus.
- Proven experience in successful deployment of programmatic campaigns to hit multiple client objectives.
- Experience in nuanced products and processes, such as SPO and Programmatic OTT.
- Successful client-facing experience as well as experience with managing external partner relationships.
- Advanced understanding and experience with Ad Trafficking/CRS documents (DoubleClick specific, but experience with other ad servers is a plus).
- Experience optimizing programmatic campaigns across DSP, SSP, DMP, and Ad Serving platforms.
- Strong Inventory Curation POV’s and proven track record; experience with troubleshooting/auditing private inventory deals through PMPs and/or PG.
- Negotiation skills for planning efficient data and inventory deals with publisher partners.
- Confident in analyzing and acting on marketing data.
- Experience in development and training of junior team members.
- In depth knowledge of the online advertising industry including ad technology solutions; RTB, DSP’s, SSP’s, advertising/publisher ecosystems, data privacy.
Pay
$50,000 - $95,000 annually.

Schedule
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. The objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
