Manager Diagnostic Imaging

About the Role

Supervises and leads staff throughout Imaging services, emphasizing and promoting service excellence. Requires initiative, team building, and development, utilizing staff efficiently to meet customer service and patient safety goals. Works closely with physicians to coordinate service and must be flexible to adapt to dynamic changes in department workload. Responsible for supporting and developing staff to exceed patient and employee satisfaction in Imaging Services. Collaborates with other managers, directors, or supervisors to meet service goals.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead Imaging services staff.
• Promote service excellence and ensure customer service and patient safety goals are met.
• Coordinate services with physicians.
• Support and develop staff to exceed patient and employee satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other managers to meet service goals.
• Adapt to dynamic changes in department workload.
• Conduct rounds for outcomes and apply key words for key times.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
• Associate Degree.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) or RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification.
