About the role

Under the direction of the diagnostic imaging services director or designee, the operations manager ensures service operation, personnel management, resource allocation, and control in order to support and enhance patient care. Responsible for the services provided within the hospital by diagnostic, ultrasound, CT scan, and nuclear medicine. Direct supervision of FTE’s in CT scan, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, diagnostic departments, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A.A. Degree in Radiology Tech or equivalent approved A.M.A. program
  • Four to five years in a supervisory or management role preferred
  • Knowledge of imaging department operation
  • Knowledge of fiscal management skills, human resources management and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards preferred but willing to train the right individual
  • CRT License and Fluoroscopy Permit
  • Valid California State Certification license in unlimited diagnostic radiology services CT and ARRT License Required
  • Current AHA-BLS, MAB
  • Proficiency in PACS
  • Must be computer literate
  • Must have good communication as well as writing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
