Manager, Data Center Operations

Position Overview

Lead the operational management of data center facilities, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency. Oversee electrical and mechanical system maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades, including chillers, generators, and fire suppression systems. Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and building safety codes, while implementing best practices for energy efficiency. Manage vendor relationships, project timelines, budgeting, and scope development to meet operational goals. Lead a team of technical staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large commercial and industrial systems including VFDs, pumps, chillers, and cooling towers.
• Expert understanding of electrical distribution, fiber optics, cabling infrastructure, and critical power systems.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing technical teams and vendors.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations such as NFPA, OSHA, and NFPA 70E.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with proficiency in MS Office Suite and project management tools.

Pay

$125,000 - $135,000
