Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role is a critical and highly visible position within the Corporate FP&A team, performing integrated companywide analysis and consolidation to support the Activision Blizzard executive leadership team. The role assists with companywide planning and forecasting processes, analyzes and reports on Corporate Support functions, and identifies opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Annual Operating Plan (40%)
    • Work with stakeholders across the business and regions to plan expenditures and headcount for the upcoming year
    • Load all necessary information into the Hyperion system
    • Prepare AOP FY27 decks to relay information to stakeholders
  • Monthly Close, Quarterly Forecast (50%), and Intra-Quarter Trending
    • Coordinate forecast inputs from various regions and business units, aligning key assumptions and drivers
    • Prepare journal entries, reclasses, and accruals for month-end close
    • Develop analyses that drive business insight and frame financial risks and opportunities
    • Perform variance analysis to ensure no surprises for senior leadership
  • Process Improvement / Ad Hoc Projects (10%)
    • Drive standardization and evolution of the Hyperion-based financial planning system to improve efficiencies
    • Automate standard processes and reporting to reduce burden and increase analytical capacity
    • Assist with Microsoft integration work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience
  • Exceptional quantitative and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to thrive and multitask in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Flexibility to vary work hours for global collaboration
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating across multiple functions
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Hyperion/Essbase experience preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of general accounting and financial planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in video game, software, technology, or entertainment industries
  • Real passion for video games

Pay

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $89,280.00 - $165,168.00 Annual. The specific range and offer will be based on relevant experience, performance, and work location. Employees in this role may also be eligible for incentive compensation, which is not guaranteed.

Schedule

This role follows a hybrid work model, with some work on-site at an Activision Blizzard office in Playa Vista, CA, and some remote work.
