Manager, Corporate Development (M&A)
Job Summary
CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Manager - Corporate Development (M&A) to support the VP of Corporate Development on acquisition strategy, execution, and other key projects. The role collaborates with Region Presidents, business unit leaders, and senior leadership on acquisition opportunities.
Job Location
This role is based at the company's corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA, with a hybrid work schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Aid in the acquisition (M&A) process including market and business assessments, due diligence, valuation and modeling, contract negotiation, and post-closing issue tracking
- Analyze market reports and company information to assess potential acquisition opportunities
- Prepare detailed financial models to evaluate businesses
- Draft proposals, presentations, and other deliverables for senior leadership in support of acquisitions, investments, and other strategic initiatives
- Lead due diligence processes, coordinating with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare ad-hoc research for the VP of Corporate Development, President, and other members of the management team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with some corporate development, consulting, investment banking or private equity experience highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, financial modeling, assessing business risk, and deal-making abilities
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
- Strong presentation and communication skills with senior leaders
- Comfortable and flexible to operate in ambiguous environments
- High learning agility and drive to achieve
- Ability to travel approximately 25%
