Primary Job Responsibilities
- Collect all relevant financial and other preliminary diligence information from various targets to evaluate key opportunities and risks associated with a potential acquisition.
- Create detailed financial models to assess new hospital acquisitions and investment opportunities (including joint ventures).
- Perform pro forma valuation analyses and create various purchase price / acquisition considerations and structures for potential targets.
- Create investment memoranda to seek investment approval.
- Create proposals (indications of interest, letters of intent, etc.) to be presented to potential acquisition targets.
- Perform post-LOI due diligence on acquisition targets, including financial & accounting, operations and HR / benefits, and legal due diligence efforts.
- Develop clear and organized communication across internal company functions (Integrations, Operations, Legal, Accounting, Payroll, and HR).
- Provide consistent and clear communication to external parties involved throughout the due diligence and execution process (selling veterinarians and their advisors, internal advisors and lenders, etc.).
Qualifications
- Located in Denver Colorado
- Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in an M&A or other transaction-related role (investment banking, private equity, consulting, or other relevant industries with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions)
- Excellent critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, strategic initiatives, and deal structuring
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, in cross-functional teams, and manage a high volume of projects
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner

Pay
The salary range for this opportunity is $140,000 - $160,000 (inclusive of bonus).
Schedule
This role is based in Denver, Colorado and will require in-office two days a week.
