About the role
Raytheon, part of RTX (the world's largest aerospace and defense company), has an opening for a Manager, Contracts in the Strategic Initiatives portfolio within the Air Power strategic business unit. In this role, you will lead, manage, and administer a broad portfolio of contracts on the StormBreaker® Programs. Our Contracts teammates are valued business partners, influencing and executing balanced business deals while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support the products and services delivered to customers.
This position is ideal for a highly motivated, well-organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. The role supports various phases of the program lifecycle, including development, sustainment, integration, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
Responsibilities
- Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Conduct proposal reviews and coordination
- Negotiate contracts, including commercial Terms and Conditions
- Review estimate at completion (EAC)
- Support program management and execution reviews
- Provide general contract administration support
- Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues
- Ensure negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies
- Advise management of contractual rights, obligations, and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
- Examine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Work closely with the Contracts Lead, Program Directors, Senior Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Proposal Manager, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to construct, submit, and negotiate pricing proposals
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Experience with one or more of the following: Finance, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Procurement, Acquisitions, Contracts, and/or Global Trade
- Active U.S. Government-issued security clearance (Secret) or the ability to obtain and maintain one
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility)

Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role. Employees will work regularly both onsite and offsite, with the ratio of onsite time determined in partnership with your leader.
