About the Role
Join Raytheon’s Advanced Technology (AT) business, where we incubate capabilities that fuel the future of defense. As the Manager of Contracts for the Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors (AISS) sub-strategic business unit, you will serve as the Contracts Manager for a major execution program in Radar & Sensor development/integration, including its competitive follow-on phases. You will also manage a vast and complex portfolio of contracts and proposals across the Advanced Technology landscape. This role involves providing strategic contractual guidance, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, and addressing a wide range of business, contractual, and programmatic matters.
Responsibilities
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), coordinate proposal reviews, and lead contract negotiation.
- Support program management and executive reviews, and handle general contract administration.
- Work closely with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Engineers, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure successful contract execution.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they arise.
- Ensure negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies.
- Provide guidance on contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and internal partners.
- Interface with customers for correspondence, contractual changes, and issue resolution.
- Support program gate reviews, business strategy sessions, proposal reviews, and risk management activities.

Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience in US Government Contracting, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Experience related to full-cycle contracts management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active transferrable Top-Secret clearance.
- Experience working in classified environments.
- Contractual acumen with demonstrated proficiency in contract fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Other Transaction Agreements, Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements.
- Experience managing development contracts in a fast-paced competitive environment.
- Proven record of responsiveness with strong time management and organizational skills.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
