About the Role

You will be Manager of the Containment Vessel Engineering group for the Reactor Component Engineering department. You will lead the engineering team responsible for the design and analysis of the AP1000 containment vessel. This includes support for operating AP1000 plants through outage support and modifications and new plant designs. You will report to the Director, Reactor Component Engineering, and be located at our global headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. This position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Coach a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and hiring
  • Manage work planning, prioritization, and resource management across all supporting departments for multiple projects
  • Ensure high-quality delivery of engineering work products according to internal quality processes and industry standards
  • Mentor team members to improve overall team capability and technical proficiency
  • Provide management-level technical oversight for the design and analysis of the containment vessel design, access hatches, and other structures of the containment vessel
  • Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and a safety and quality culture
  • Coordinate emergent response to customer issues for your responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline
  • Typically 10 years of progressively responsible engineering and/or leadership experience
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment with time zone differences
  • Ability to gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions
  • Leadership competency and existing experience
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and practices

Pay

We estimate the base salary range for this position, dependent upon qualifications, to be $130,400 to $163,000 per year.

Schedule

This position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.
