Manager, Construction Projects - Commercial Signage - Lancaster, PA Location: Lancaster, PA (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Salary: $110,000 to $130,000 per year Position SummaryWe are hiring a Manager, Construction Projects to lead our project management team and oversee delivery of our commercial signage portfolio. You will manage your own high-value or complex projects while supervising, mentoring, and developing project managers, and you will set the standards for process, client service, and project execution across the department.We are also hiring a Construction Project Manager, a remote role managing commercial signage projects. Compensation and Benefits$110,000 to $130,000 annual salaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceVoluntary benefits: short-term disability, life and AD&D, critical illness, accident401(k) with employer matchPaid time off: accrue up to 120 hours per year7 paid holidays plus 1 floating holidayOpportunities for career advancement ResponsibilitiesOwn a portfolio of high-priority, multi-location, or complex commercial signage projectsSupervise the project management team: help hire and train, organize work and schedules, give timely and constructive performance feedback, and handle discipline and termination in line with company policyReview and approve budgets, schedules, and scopes across the team’s active projectsMonitor department KPIs, including on-time delivery, budget performance, and client satisfactionLead client relationships for key accounts and multi-site programsStandardize the change order process and approve change orders on high-value or escalated projects before client submissionSet team standards for progress tracking and invoicing so billing is accurate, on schedule, and per contract termsNegotiate with vendors and subcontractors on complex or escalated mattersWork with Sales, Design, and Installation leadership to improve project flowIdentify bottlenecks and develop tools, templates, and reporting to improve team efficiencyReport regularly to senior leadership on project portfolio health Required Qualifications8+ years of project management experience in commercial signage, construction, or a related field2+ years in a supervisory or lead project manager role, managing project managers or coordinatorsAssociate’s degree, or equivalent experience, in project management, business, or a related fieldDeep knowledge of signage permitting and installation logisticsExperience managing and standardizing change order processes across a team or departmentStrong grasp of invoicing, billing compliance, and financial reporting; ability to analyze project financials and improve marginStrong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to read architectural drawings, site plans, and sign layoutsProficiency with project management software (such as Monday.com or Procore) and Microsoft Office or Google WorkspaceExcellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills Preferred QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification Get to Know UsCome be a part of the #1 FASTSIGNS location globally!
