Job Description
The Complex Accounting & Litigation team at J.S. Held is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager with experience in complex investigations, litigation, or external audit to lead high-impact engagements and cultivate client relationships.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute complex, multi-jurisdictional investigations involving regulatory inquiries, compliance reviews, financial transactions, and litigation support.
- Support litigation and arbitration matters, including expert report preparation, testimony support, presentations, and data visualizations.
- Analyze large datasets to identify financial irregularities, trends, or risk indicators.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic insight.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, publications, and market visibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with law firms, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
- Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of experience in forensic accounting, investigations, disputes, or related consulting environments with an active CPA license.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on team development and client delivery.
- Lead and mentor junior professionals, including review of work product and professional development.
- Manage engagement teams, budgets, timelines, and deliverable quality.
- Provide constructive feedback and contribute to a high-performance team culture.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working across international jurisdictions and regulatory environments.
- Certified Fraud Examiner or desire to obtain CFE License.
- Big 4 Audit Experience is highly preferred. Financial services industry experience also highly preferred.

Additional Information
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
