Job Summary

As a Manager, Clinical Services, you will oversee daily operations and strategic direction for specific clinical service lines, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Every day you will manage and mentor clinical staff, monitor performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance outcomes and efficiency. To be successful, you will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and clinical knowledge, driving continuous improvement and excellent patient care to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Operations: Manages and evaluates the clinical operations, programs and resources of the assigned clinical area/facility to assure the safe and appropriate delivery of diagnostic and/or therapeutic patient care.
• Staff Management and Development: Plans, manages and evaluates the work of clinical and administrative staff in accordance with the content, spirit and intent of applicable internal/external regulations and standard for human resource management.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensures all aspects of clinical operations are conducted and documented in compliance with relevant internal policies, standards/procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Budget: Participates in annual budget planning and administration relative to assigned responsibilities. Identifies adequate staffing levels for appropriate coverage to meet budgetary and operational objectives.
• Performance/Quality Improvement: Works with management team to ensure the application of consistent operational and clinical practices.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing
• Three years’ experience and clinical knowledge in the same or similar clinical specialty
• Two years in a charge nurse/leadership or equivalent position required
• Current healthcare provider BLS certification
• Quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire (ongoing competency required through internal resources; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements)
• ACLS within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or Bachelors’ Degree in a related field
• Clinical knowledge as a Registered Nurse in the same or similar clinical specialty
• Certification in specialty area

Pay

$57.58 – $108.74 /hour
