About the role

The Treasury Systems & Business Solutions team, part of the Capital Markets and Risk organization, focuses on delivering simple, well-integrated, and intelligent solutions that enhance decision-making and support best-in-class execution, operations, and risk management for Treasury. The team maintains Treasury software applications used by business users and data consumers while influencing strategic technology decisions. This Manager will collaborate with Agile teams to implement cloud-based solutions, lead customer interviews and analysis, and ensure data integrity throughout new solution deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Define solutions (requirements, designs, services, recommendations) to address business and systems problems.
  • Liaise between technical and business subject-matter experts to translate business requirements into detailed project briefs.
  • Partner with consumers, business SMEs, and source system teams to analyze, internalize, and translate business requirements and source data into:
    • Data requirements for upstream source systems.
    • Source-to-target mapping.
    • Data quality requirements.
    • Processing requirements (business rules, aggregation, transformation).
    • User acceptance test cases and negative test scenarios.
  • Prepare systems analysis documentation and specifications.
  • Identify roadblocks to projected timelines and present potential solutions.
  • Ensure solution integrity through user acceptance testing (UAT) and finalize disposition for business-as-usual acceptance.
  • Provide support functions including assisting core system users, addressing downstream system issues, and responding to internal/external audit requests.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver technical information or documentation.
  • Own the design of configuration changes within Treasury’s Derivative system (Murex).
  • Manage inter-team and technology dependencies to mitigate project and product risks.
  • Support the Product Owner with prioritization, roadmap development, and test coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a business systems analysis role.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Capital Markets, including derivative workflows (e.g., Murex or Calypso).

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience with Murex pricing and valuation models.
  • 2+ years of experience with the Murex MRA/MRB module.
  • 3+ years of experience with the Murex Pricing module and pre-trade rules.
  • 1+ year of experience with trade and payments workflow modifications in MxML Exchange (pre- and post-workflows).
  • 1+ year of experience working with AWS.
  • Solid knowledge of collateral margining and SIMM.
  • Strong understanding of technology, including databases and SQL.
  • Strong Agile delivery knowledge and training and/or practical experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of interest rate, FX, and credit derivatives, including trade lifecycle events.
  • Hands-on experience with Murex version 3.1.63 and above.

Pay

McLean, VA: $164,800 – $188,100 (full-time annual salary). Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated. Incentives may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives, which could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
