About the role

The Manager CAFE I position at Oak Park Elementary School is responsible for overseeing the cafeteria operations to ensure efficient service and compliance with all policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cafeteria operations including food preparation, serving, and cleaning.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage staff schedules and train new employees as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and community members.
• Collaborate with other school departments to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
• Valid Florida Food Handler Certification.
• Experience with managing staff and training new employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
