About the role

This job is pivotal in leading a team to support business operations through data analysis and reporting. It involves overseeing the production of regular and special reports, guiding data integrity audits, and identifying opportunities for process optimization. The job requires a strategic approach to developing reporting tools and consolidating data to drive informed decision-making. It also entails providing feedback on system performance to shape enhancements and support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the development and implementation of operational policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Managing the creation and distribution of critical business reports for informed decision-making processes
• Leading a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence and meet strategic business goals
• Guiding team members in conducting data audits as needed to maintain high standards of data integrity
• Facilitating the integration of advanced analytics into business strategies for improved decision support
• Directing the consolidation of data sources to foster a culture of analytics-driven strategic planning
• Providing analytical support to compare performance against budgets and assess financial implications
• Influencing system enhancements by articulating user and business requirements to management teams
• Overseeing the collection and analysis of management data to guide team performance and operational improvements
• Implementing business process enhancements to align with the strategic direction of the team
• Driving business operations function in areas of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, procurement/payment for opex budget
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; Comcast may also consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience
• 5-7 years relevant work experience
