Manager, Business Enterprise Systems

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Business Enterprise Systems to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will guide the development and support of core business systems that enable cross-functional operations and decision-making. You will partner closely with business leaders to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions, while helping shape architecture, standards, and delivery practices. The position also combines hands-on engineering with people leadership, making it well suited for someone who can coach a team, manage priorities, and drive disciplined execution in a fast-moving fintech environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Build and maintain trusted relationships with business leaders across various functions Translate operational challenges into technical requirements through in-depth questioning Actively contribute to development by writing and reviewing production code Establish and uphold technical standards for design and architecture Coach and develop the team with clear expectations and feedback Oversee the delivery of team commitments across multiple functions Ensure disciplined release management for business-critical systems Qualifications 6+ years of application development experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a management role Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, TypeScript, Ruby, or Python, with recent production system experience Experience fostering individual team member growth through assessments and reviews Track record of guiding teams through technical delivery processes Experience managing integration and data flows across third-party platforms Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools for cloud automation, such as Terraform Demonstrated ability to build effective stakeholder relationships Benefits Opportunities for professional growth and development within a supportive team environment Hands-on involvement in technical development and architecture Exposure to a variety of business functions and cross-functional collaboration Work in a high-growth fintech environment with potential for rapid advancement Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
