Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities for Microsoft Azure services
- Build and manage a strong pipeline across enterprise, mid-market, and SMB segments
- Engage with clients to understand their digital transformation needs and propose Azure-based solutions
- Promote offerings such as cloud migration, infrastructure services, data analytics, AI, and security solutions using Azure
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to develop compelling proposals and solution architectures
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and Microsoft partner ecosystem
- Work closely with Microsoft teams for co-selling initiatives and joint GTM strategies
- Lead client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and closures
- Track sales performance, forecast revenue, and achieve assigned sales targets
- Stay updated on Azure services, Microsoft programs, and cloud market trends
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure platform and cloud technologies
- Proven track record in IT / Cloud sales or business development
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to convert business requirements into cloud solutions
- Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities
- Result-oriented with strong ownership and accountability
- Experience working with Microsoft ecosystem is highly preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or related field
- MBA preferred
- Experience: 6–10 years of experience in business development or sales, minimum 3–5 years in cloud / Azure / IT services sales
- Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-305, etc.), Sales or cloud-related certifications are an added advantage
