Manager, Business and Technical Analysis

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Analysts to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality business analysis and solutions across projects and initiatives.
  • Manage team performance, provide coaching and development opportunities, and support career growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, define scope, and translate requirements into clear, functional specifications and documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and other techniques to gather requirements and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and use cases using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Unified Modeling Language (UML)).
  • Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle and validate solutions meet business needs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Owners and Technical Leads) to ensure solutions support business objectives and are aligned with strategic goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, computer science, information technology, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, business solutions, or technical solutions roles.
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
  • Advanced knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices (BABOK, BPMN).
  • Skilled in eliciting, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
  • Proficient in business process modeling and workflow analysis.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience translating business needs into actionable solutions, collaborating with product owners, architects, and technical teams.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop business and technical analysts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and recommend effective solutions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documentation and deliver presentations.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $105,322.00 to $131,652.00 Annually. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.
