Manager - Bus Operations and Service Planning
Job Summary

The Global Lead – Bus Operations and Service Planning position supports bus operations and service planning projects such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), bus network redesign, zero emission transition planning, microtransit, and paratransit. Ideal candidates are motivated, results-driven professionals with 10+ years of experience in engineering and experience with major transit agencies.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects related to bus operations and service planning
- Provide technical expertise to support cross-discipline project teams
- Complete cost estimates associated with planned projects
- Serve as subject matter expert on bus fleet planning
- Develop cost estimates and life cycle analyses to assess existing bus operations
- Review technical documents such as design plans and other engineering related deliverables
- Prepare quality assurance plans and oversee quality control programs
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients
Requirements
- BS degree in planning or other related degree
- 10+ years of progressively responsible engineering experience
- Experience working with major transit agencies
- Experience completing network redesigns of bus networks
- Experience planning for new BRT service
- Experience with business development and proposal development for consulting work
Qualifications
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others or independently
- Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of quality

Pay
$130,000 - $155,000 (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
