Manager, Brokerage Platform Operations (General Ledger)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, Brokerage Platform Operations (General Ledger) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will oversee general ledger operations supporting brokerage activity, with a strong focus on accurate accounting, reconciliations, and reporting for client transactions. You will partner closely with Engineering and finance stakeholders to improve workflows, reduce operational risk, and strengthen control execution. The position also plays a key role in audit readiness, exception handling, and process improvement across a regulated brokerage environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting for client transactions
• Investigate data anomalies and design automated solutions for systemic issues
• Coordinate and maintain operational readiness for brokerage audits
• Monitor asset movements and handle exception cases promptly
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to automate workflows and reduce risks
• Mentor team members and design process improvements for efficiency

Qualifications

• 5+ years in brokerage or broker-dealer accounting, finance, or ledger operations
• Direct experience with general ledger management
• Ability to communicate complex technical requirements across finance and engineering teams
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance processes
• Experience in audit preparation and documentation practices

Pay

$100,000 – $120,000 annually
