Manager - Auxiliary Equipment & Valves
About The Role
As the Manager-Auxiliary Equipment & Valve, you will lead a team responsible for the global sourcing, contracting, and commercial management of engineered equipment, valves, and critical supply chain solutions supporting APX nuclear projects. This involves collaborating with executive leadership, engineering, project management, quality, operations, and strategic suppliers across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Create category and sourcing strategies that improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), mitigate supply chain risk, and ensure long-term supply continuity.
- Lead bidder identification, supplier qualifications, RFx activities, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and award recommendations.
- Negotiate complex commercial agreements, pricing structures, and contractual terms with global suppliers.
- Lead strategic supplier relationship management (SRM) programs with necessary global suppliers.
- Promote supplier performance improvements through executive business reviews, scorecards, and performance management processes.
- Find and address commercial, operational, geopolitical, capacity, quality, and delivery risks.
- Build, mentor, and lead a commercial sourcing team focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop global sourcing strategies for complex engineered equipment, valves, materials, and services supporting APX projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of procurement, supply chain, or commercial management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex negotiations, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, contract development, and supplier selection activities.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $112,400 to $140,500 per year.
Schedule
You will report to the Director, APX Supply Chain Commercial Operations and be a remote employee with travel required.
