Manager - Automotive Marketing

About the role

The Automotive Marketing Manager will be responsible for business development in the Automotive Market in the Americas. This position involves maintaining strong relationships with MCHP Business Units (BUs), representing APG at Chandler Headquarters, quoting MCHP products, promoting MCHP automotive solutions, attending trade shows, contributing to Automotive web page content, holding speeches at public events, identifying market requirements, influencing MCHP BUs product roadmaps, and serving as a go-to-person for selected BUs to drive and streamline APG/BU exchanges.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationship with MCHP BU Representatives
• Represent APG at Chandler Headquarter Position
• Quote MCHP products in the Automotive Market
• Support CEMs and FAEs in promoting MCHP automotive solutions at clients
• Attend trade shows, write articles, contribute to Automotive web page content, hold speeches at public events
• Identify market requirements and influence MCHP BUs product roadmaps to develop competitive automotive solutions
• Serve as a go-to-person for selected BUs to drive and streamline APG/BU exchange (BU Champion)

Requirements/Qualifications

• BSEE with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of automotive market and products
• Experience in semiconductors
• Sales/Business development and/or marketing experience
• Excellent communicator
• Client engagement skills
• Self-starter
• Proficiency in English
• Foreign languages a benefit
