Essential Functions
- Cook up, organize, and schedule engagements to nail down all deadlines
- Give timely feedback on each engagement to boost staff learning and development
- Inspect the whole set of financial statements and disclosures to stay compliant with reporting requirements
- Check the work papers to ensure compliance with quality control documents
- Research accounting issues and come up with solutions
- Plan and manage engagements to wrap them up on time
- Turn into an expert within your assigned niches
- Facilitate in monitoring the quality of our product and the performance of our personnel
- Maintain public certification and keep up with adequate Continuing Professional Education units
- Help out with special projects assigned by Partners
- Build new client contacts and relationships that benefit the firm
- Spot opportunities to offer additional services to existing clients
- CPA Certification Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in public accounting, 3 years as a senior (in-charge) accountant
- Superior oral/written communication skills
- Well-developed decision-making skills and the ability to make those decisions
- Ability to conduct research and analyze information collected
- Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and stay organized
