Manager, Audit

Essential Functions

• Cook up, organize, and schedule engagements to nail down all deadlines
• Give timely feedback on each engagement to boost staff learning and development
• Inspect the whole set of financial statements and disclosures to stay compliant with reporting requirements
• Check the work papers to ensure compliance with quality control documents
• Research accounting issues and come up with solutions
• Plan and manage engagements to wrap them up on time
• Turn into an expert within your assigned niches
• Facilitate in monitoring the quality of our product and the performance of our personnel
• Maintain public certification and keep up with adequate Continuing Professional Education units
• Help out with special projects assigned by Partners
• Build new client contacts and relationships that benefit the firm
• Spot opportunities to offer additional services to existing clients

Qualifications

• CPA Certification Required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in public accounting, 3 years as a senior (in-charge) accountant
• Superior oral/written communication skills
• Well-developed decision-making skills and the ability to make those decisions
• Ability to conduct research and analyze information collected
• Ability to prioritize a heavy workload and stay organized
