Manager, Audit
Essential Functions
- Cook up, organize, and schedule engagements to ensure all deadlines are met
- Quickly give feedback on each engagement to help staff grow
- Thoroughly check financial statements and disclosures to stay compliant with reporting rules
- Investigate accounting questions and come up with solutions
- Smartly plan and manage engagements to get them done on time
- Turn into an expert in your assigned areas
- Help keep track of the quality of our work and the performance of our team members
- Keep your public certification up-to-date and meet your required Continuing Professional Education units
- Help out with special projects given by the Partners
- Find ways to connect with new clients and build relationships
- Spot chances to offer extra services to existing clients
- CPA Certification Required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in public accounting, 3 years as a senior (in-charge) accountant
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to take initiative
- The ability to research and analyze information
- The ability to prioritize a busy workload and stay organized
