About the role

Deloitte’s Audit & Assurance (A&A) Growth Team is seeking a Business Development Manager with a passion for driving revenue growth and fostering client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the market and build a portfolio of strategic targets
  • Support individual professionals and account teams with company and competitor research, relationship mapping, and action plans
  • Drive a growth culture mentality within the A&A practice
  • Meet with and present to partners and staff on growth efforts
  • Develop and execute internal communications strategy
  • Lead and contribute to special projects
  • For priority accounts, meet with account teams to vet/support/revise strategic plans and track action items
  • Be a trusted advisor to the office and growth leaders, serving as a champion of Deloitte’s Green Dot mindset

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, English, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience in marketing, pursuit management, or business development
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal and written
  • Excellent relationship development and persuasive skills—at all levels of the organization
  • Strong project- and people-management skills
  • Strong analytic, critical thinking, and creative capabilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • 8+ years of experience preferred
  • Big Four, audit, or professional services marketing, business development, or pursuit experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM a plus

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,300 to $173,300.
