About the role
The Hourly Manager at Friendly's is responsible for managing daily restaurant operations with a focus on flawless execution, increasing profit, and enhancing the guest experience. This role requires a strong ability to lead and motivate hourly employees, ensuring they provide friendly service and deliver great food and ice cream to all guests.
Responsibilities
- Assists General Manager with assigned administrative and operational shift duties.
- Oversees, directs, and assists in kitchen, dining, and take-out operations.
- Facilitates production and customer service.
- Ensures safety regulations and quality standards are maintained.
- Manages guest service by greeting, assisting guests, and addressing issues according to company policy.
- Open and closes the restaurant, assigns and follows up on opening and closing daily operating procedures and housekeeping tasks to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Ensures all safety, security, and sanitation policies are consistently executed.
Requirements
- Minimum of one (1) year of restaurant experience.
- Proven track record of achieving results and building successful teams.
- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- Ability to partner and build relationships while demonstrating leadership and integrity.
- Capable of performing all functions and meeting all qualification standards for all hourly positions.
- Knowledge of POS system and back office systems.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, hear well amidst loud background noise, and perform all job functions safely.

- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
