Manager / Associate Director

About the role

The Group has a strong talent pool of over 200 investment professionals, supported by more than 300 staff, with primary presences in Singapore, India, China, Indonesia and the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage monthly book closing for several entities, including an overseas entity covering accounts receivable, accounts payable, staff claims and reimbursements.
• Liaise independently with external auditors and tax consultants to support statutory audits and tax filings.
• Prepare year-end financial statements and annual budgets for the assigned entities.
• Perform group consolidation for a sub-group of entities.
• Review, maintain and improve Group accounting policies and related documentation.
• Participate in new projects (e.g. process improvements, system enhancements, new entity or product setup) as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related discipline.
• Proven relevant experience (at least 5 years) in corporate accounting within the financial services industry.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, pivots, data analysis).
• Positive attitude, keen to learn and willing to take on new challenges.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple timelines & priorities.
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion and FCCS (or other consolidation systems) is preferred.
• Consolidation knowledge with Funds industry background is an added advantage.
