Job Summary
Responsible for the day-to-day administration and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to manage and maintain a property. Focuses on tenant satisfaction and property value, coordinating maintenance, responding to tenant needs, and managing contracts.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate maintenance programs for the interior and exterior of the property
- Promptly respond to tenant requests and implement ongoing contact programs
- Select and negotiate contract services and monitor vendor performance
- Develop and administer the strategic property plan and budget
- Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to property management objectives
- Administer tenant leases to ensure compliance with lease provisions
- Handle tenant requests and dispatch work orders
- Participate in day-to-day financial management, including accounts receivable, collection activities, and maintenance of accounts payable
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years previous property/facilities management experience
- Experience in and working knowledge of business/office administration
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to learn new software programs as needed
- Valid real estate license in states requiring it
