Manager Anesthesia Admin Serv | Full Time

Responsibilities

Directs and manages the financial performance of the anesthesiology CRNA and CAA administrative functions.

Affirms appropriate department staffing.

Either directly or indirectly through supervising physicians, is responsible for the full performance management of CRNA and CAA clinicians.

Affirms departmental mission is consistently met in high quality manner.

Develops, implements, and evaluates long-range business plans for the department.

Maintains relationship between Shands Hospital and the UF COM Department of Anesthesiology.

Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Master's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, hospital administration, or public administration.

Minimum of two years of management experience; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.

Note: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile at least once daily, at least five individual trips per week or drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
