Manager | After-Hours Hospice Operations

Brief Description

Faith Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate leader to oversee their After-Hours Response Team. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting staff, and wants to make a meaningful impact during some of the most critical moments in a patient's hospice journey.

What Will You Do?

• Provide direct leadership and support to the after-hours clinical team.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.
• Monitor response times, patient and family satisfaction, staffing effectiveness, and operational performance.
• Serve as a resource for clinical decision-making and complex patient situations.
• Collaborate with daytime leadership teams to ensure continuity of care and communication.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support organizational quality, compliance, and patient safety initiatives.

Education & Experience

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required; unrestricted nursing license in the state of Michigan.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, charge nurse, or management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and service excellence.
• Hospice and palliative care experience strongly preferred.
