About the role

The Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for the reconciliation of services rendered to final and accurate payment. This includes the successful resolution of outstanding cash payments, claims denials, and claims projects which may involve denials, under paid claims, account balances, incorrect payer adjudication, and payment appeals and grievances, amongst other related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile services rendered to final and accurate payment
  • Manage a team of staff dedicated to ensuring optimal and accurate revenue actualization
  • Resolve outstanding cash payments, claims denials, and claims projects involving denials, under paid claims, account balances, incorrect payer adjudication, and payment appeals and grievances

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable management, billing, collections, or similar roles is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are also necessary.

Qualifications

Experience in healthcare settings is preferred. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance is beneficial. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial.

Skills

Proficiency in healthcare coding and reimbursement processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficient in healthcare software such as Epic, Cerner, or other EHR systems.
