About the role
Nestlé is seeking a Manager, Accounts Receivable to join their Accounting & Finance team in Solon, OH.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounts receivable process and team performance
- Manage customer collections and credit risk assessment
- Ensure timely and accurate application of cash receipts
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze AR aging reports and metrics
- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and other finance functions
- Drive process improvements and system enhancements
- Support month-end close and reporting activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable or credit/collections
- 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- MBA or professional certification (CPA, CCE) is a plus
- Experience in consumer packaged goods or manufacturing industry
- Familiarity with shared service center operations
- Track record of leading process improvement initiatives
