Manager, Accounting Services- Remote

Position Summary

Core Financial Outsourcing is a bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and consulting firm offering a fully remote working environment. The Manager of Accounting Services oversees accounting operations, ensures financial accuracy, and manages client accounts while supervising a remote team. The role requires a detail‑oriented leader versed in accounting principles and skilled in process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an advisor for a diverse book of business, creating personalized solutions for clients.
• Identify and address key account concerns using team expertise and technology.
• Lead and supervise a team of Staff Accountants, ensuring quality and adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize processes and establish efficient operational practices.
• Complete ad‑hoc projects, including operational analysis and client initiatives.
• Manage financial reporting and closing procedures for various clients.
• Provide expert‑level service in bookkeeping, journal entries, financial statements, and related tasks.
• Enhance financial reporting practices while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Experience in public accounting or financial services.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems.
• Proven leadership with a focus on training and team development.
• Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay

Salary range: $105,000 – $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
