Manager, Accounting Operations

About the Role

As Manager, Accounting Operations at ShopMy, you'll own our AP, expense, and travel operations, and help us build out procurement as the company scales. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to bring order to a fast-growing finance function and is genuinely excited to use AI tools to make that work better, not just faster.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable, expense management, and travel operations day to day
• Help build ShopMy's procurement function, including vendor management and spend controls
• Partner cross-functionally with legal, people, and IT teams to streamline processes as we grow
• Use AI tools to automate and improve how the team works
• Support billing operations as part of the broader finance function
• Collaborate with the Finance team on month-end close, audits, and reporting

Requirements

• 4-6 years in finance operations, accounting, or a related field (accounting background preferred)
• Hands-on experience with AP, expense management, and travel programs
• Experience with or exposure to procurement and vendor management tools and processes
• Comfortable building processes and finding creative solutions to problems
• Genuine fluency with AI tools
• Based in NYC or the Bay Area preferred; open to remote for the right candidate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience standing up a procurement function from the ground up
• Background in a high-growth technology or e-commerce company
• Familiarity with Zip, Ramp, or Navan

Actual compensation may vary based on the scope and responsibilities of the position, relevant work experience, key skills, education, training, and business considerations.

Pay

New York Pay Range: $115,000 - $135,000 USD (base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission). ShopMy is flexible pending candidate's experience and how business needs evolve.
