Manager, Accounting - Beauty

Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting functions including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
Ensure timely bank reconciliations and balance sheet integrity
Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting accuracy
Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting
Provide operational financial reporting to warehouse and brand teams
Support regulatory reporting and audit preparation
Research technical accounting issues for compliance with GAAP and international requirements
Manage and comply with Sales Tax filings (U.S. and International)
Document and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Partner with HR and Operations on payroll allocations, overtime tracking, and warehouse labor reporting
Supervise accounting staff as assigned
Partner with warehouse management to ensure accurate inventory and cost reporting
Collaborate with TriNet, ADP, auditors, and external partners as needed
Qualifications
4+ years' experience in accounting or finance leadership (Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar)
Strong understanding of financial statements, inventory accounting, and detailed financial analysis
Experience in beauty, cosmetics, wellness, retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands strongly preferred
Experience with multi-entity accounting preferred
Advanced Excel skills and ERP experience
Knowledge of sales tax compliance (U.S. and international preferred)
Preferred
CPA or CPA-track
Experience in beauty, distribution, logistics, or e-commerce environments
Experience working with ADP, TriNet, or similar payroll/benefits platforms (common in PCA operations)
