Responsibilities
- Provides quality internal and external customer service aligned with Company values.
- Implements senior management-approved programs and projects that align with Company goals, policies, financial objectives, and schedules.
- Completes month-end close activities, including reviewing and posting journal entries, reconciliations, financial analysis, and GAAP reporting.
- Ensures proper internal controls are in place and followed.
- Manages an accountant, including goal setting, oversight of functional responsibilities, and performance evaluations.
- Reviews fixed asset tasks and helps document processes and controls.
- Researches and answers capitalization questions to ensure compliance with Company policies.
- Reviews software licenses, related accounts, and contracts to ensure compliance with Company policies and GAAP.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve process automation.
- Serves as liaison with the corporate office, field locations, and outside parties on accounting matters.
- Performs financial analysis using data from financial accounting systems.
- Ensures generally accepted accounting principles are followed in monthly financial statement preparation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of progressive functional experience.
- Ability to clearly communicate accounting matters and deliver effective presentations to management and cross-functional partners.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and financial statement support.
- Professional experience and knowledge sufficient to perform job responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Able to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based applications.

- Experience leading, mentoring, and/or developing accounting or finance teams.
- Hands-on experience using Workday Financials and related accounting modules.
- Experience with fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliations.
- Experience in software or SaaS accounting, including industry-specific accounting practices.
Pay
Pay Range: $83,000.00 - $105,000.00
