Manager, Accounting

POSITION TITLE Manager , Accounting Position Summary In this position, you will oversee accounting operations across multiple affiliated entities, leading monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, financial reporting, cash management, audit support, and staff supervision while ensuring accurate and efficient accounting operations. Responsibilities Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities Prepare and review financial statements Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes Manage cash operations and online banking activities Prepare and review journal entries Perform general ledger reconciliations Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules Support budgeting and tax-related activities Coordinate audit requests and supporting documentation Provide financial data and reporting support to internal stakeholders Administer employee expense reporting processes Support accounting system upgrades, migrations, and implementations Hire, train, and supervise accounting support staff Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned Qualifications Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English Bachelor's degree 3+ years of accounting experience 2+ years of experience managing accounting staff and/or accounting processes Experience at the Accounting Manager level or equivalent Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting systems, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Preferred Qualifications Master's degree CPA license Audit experience with a Big Four or national public accounting firm Experience with ERP and expense management systems Experience in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments LOCATION Greater Los Angeles Area WORK ARRANGEMENT On -site, five days per week SALARY USD 110,000-130,000
