- Global Compliance Leadership: Oversee the consolidation model and act as a key partner for international compliance, ensuring seamless coordination on statutory audits across global regions.
- Maintaining Financial Integrity & Compliance
- Trusted Financials: Act as a reliable final checkpoint for financial statements, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance before submission to leadership.
- Practical Controls: Maintain a strong, clear SOX and internal controls environment that integrates naturally into Oracle workflows without creating bottlenecks.
- Mentoring a Great Team
- Supportive Leadership: Lead and develop a talented team of accounting professionals, coaching them through career growth, setting clear goals, and protecting work-life balance during major milestones.
- Insightful Business Partnership
- Strategic Insights: Team up with FP&A to assist with consolidated budgets and forecasts, and help regional leaders understand budget-to-actual variances for informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Education & License: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; CPA required.
- Experience: 6+ years of progressive corporate or public accounting experience, ideally with exposure to global, multi-entity environments.
- Systems & Transformations: Experience with an ERP implementation or major systems upgrade (Oracle Fusion experience is a plus).
- People First: Proven track record of managing and coaching accounting staff with a focus on empathy, clarity, and development.
- Technical Foundations: Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX frameworks.
- Mindset: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a calm approach to handling deadlines and organizational changes.
