About the Role
We are seeking a Manager to join our CFO Accounting Advisory practice, focusing on the Financial Accounting Advisory team. This role supports CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors in enhancing financial reporting processes to maximize business value.
Responsibilities
- Participate in projects related to GAAP Advisory, Business Analytics and Decision Support, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Transaction Support, Program/Project Management
- Serve as a project leader, supervising, developing, and training staff
- Collaborate with senior managers and partners on client and engagement management
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Communicate with business owners, executives, investors, lenders, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional client service
- Engage in professional development through training sessions and networking events
- Contribute to recruiting efforts, including campus recruiting and participating in the firm's Employee Referral Bonus Program
- Display excellent teamwork, positive attitude, and high ethical standards
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a large accounting firm in audit and financial advisory service lines
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
- Knowledge and proficiency in using relevant tools, applications, and accounting and finance concepts
- Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Current GAAP advisory knowledge and application
- Experience with middle market financial suites such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, etc., and their functionalities, workflows, automated controls, and data consolidation, reporting, and analytics
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and handle multiple priorities
- Advanced modeling and Excel skills, experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, and generating data-driven insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to present analyses to management, and leadership in driving initiatives
- Effective teamwork and collaboration with all levels of client personnel in various industries
- Comfortable interacting with senior-level client personnel, including preparing and participating in executive briefings
- Ability to travel approximately 25% and work in a hybrid work environment
