About the Role

We are currently seeking a Manager to join our CFO Accounting Advisory practice, specifically within our Financial Accounting Advisory team. Our practice assists CFOs, Controllers, and Finance Directors in improving financial reporting processes to enhance the value of finance to business operations. The CFO Advisory practice supports CFOs in achieving significant and sustainable performance through technical analysis and process improvement services. Our clients span from emerging growth companies to publicly traded entities across various industries including technology, business services, manufacturing/distribution, energy, real estate, hospitality, and retail.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in projects focused on GAAP Advisory, Business Analytics and Decision Support, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Transaction Support, Program/Project Management, and Supervision/Training of Staff
  • Collaborate with senior managers and partners on client and engagement management
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
  • Communicate with business owners, executive management, investors, lenders, and other sophisticated parties to deliver exceptional client service
  • Participate in recruiting activities, including campus recruiting, and contribute to the firm's Employee Referral Bonus Program
  • Strive for continuous professional development through training sessions and networking events both internally and externally
  • Work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a large accounting firm in audit and financial advisory service lines
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
  • Knowledge and proficiency in using appropriate tools, applications, and accounting and finance concepts to facilitate analysis
  • Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Current GAAP advisory knowledge and application
  • Exposure to middle market financial suite applications such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Intacct, etc., and their functionalities, workflows, automated controls, and associated facilitation of data consolidation, reporting, and robust analytics
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and handle multiple priorities
  • Advanced modeling and Excel skills, experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis, and ability to generate data-driven insights
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience presenting analyses to management, and ability to lead and drive initiatives
  • Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with senior-level client personnel, including preparing and participating in executive briefings
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% and work in a hybrid work environment

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $124,910 to $236,800. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
